Hello babies and parents of babies.
We have a few important things to cover so please read the entire email.
1. Please find below the list of open positions for the 2017-2018 band year.
Please review the positions. Details regarding duties and commitments are including in the description.
We will vote of positions during our April booster meeting. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the open position.
Executive board position:
2. We are all very excited about the name change for our band program.
The change in name gives us an opportunity to update the Bands image by changing our Logo.
To facilitate this change, we will be having a design competition for the new logo.
The new logo will appear on the band trailer as well as band website and merchandise. So, lets make it a GREAT design.
Please submit your designs by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We can't wait to see what you guys, gals and parents come up with.
*Please note: A flyer for the new design will also be put up at the school.
3. The most effective way to support our band program is through donors and sponsorship. Many businesses sponsor organization, maybe even the ones you work for. This is a viable avenue to increase band funding, reduce student fees and reduce the need to several fundraisers, however, we will need everyone to be actively engage in seeking out these relationships.
You will find attached the latest donor/sponsorship forms. Please reach out the your employers and local business regarding sponsoring our growing music programs.
4. We need pictures for the end of year slide show. Please email short videos and pictures to email@example.com. I need to receive videos and pictures no later than April 1st to ensure the slideshow is completed on time.
As always, contact me with any questions or concerns at firstname.lastname@example.org or 864.525.3285
